July 4th Essex Auto Club Car Show

We’re (Still) Eager to Attend the Annual July 4th Essex Auto Club Car Show

Unfortunately, Mother Nature is making us wait a bit for this show, which has moved to the rain date of Monday, September 4, (aka Labor Day) 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the grounds of the Connecticut River Museum, 67 Main Street, Essex

Car Entrant Fee: $20, Spectator Suggested Donation: $5 (Kids Under 12 Free)

We're looking forward to this show, which will take place on the grounds of the Connecticut River Museum and raise funds for local non-profits. Food and beverages will be available and trophies will be awarded.

This show attracts about 75 great cars, showing them against the backdrop of the beautiful Essex Harbor.  No wonder hundreds of people make this show part of their holiday plans!

Thank you to the show organizers — hardworking members of the Essex Auto Club Car — for giving us the privilege of sponsorship.  We’re proud to be part of this event because of the quality of cars, the great people involved, and the chance to be part of an important fundraiser.  Last year, the show raised $4,000 for the Connecticut River Foundation, and shared $250 each to the Deep River Historical Society, the Essex Historical Society, the Essex Garden Club, Essex Ambulance, Essex Fire Department, and the Ivoryton Library.
